This week was a great week, and I decided to explore Sydney more. Starting Wednesday morning, I got up early and ran to Bronte Beach to watch the sunrise. I also bought an action camera to document my experiences. I woke up at 5:45 and ran 3 miles, even though I’m not a great runner, and I made it in time for the sunrise. It was popping early in the morning, which I love about Sydney. Everyone was always taking in the beauty of the beaches, and there was even a workout class.

On Saturday, Jonah and I went to Gordon’s Bay. It was my first time there and probably my favorite beach. It was cool because many people were lying on the rocks instead of lying on the sand. I brought the action camera to catch footage of me jumping in the water. The only issue with that is that I got sunburned because the UV was a nine, so hopefully, I’m getting tanner now.

Later that night, we decided to go to Milk Beach to catch the sunset. It was crowded; everyone was sitting down enjoying the sunset, which was great. We found a great spot right on the water. It was one of the best sunsets I’ve seen, and I could see the entire Sydney skyline. I will have to go back and check it out again

As previously stated, I’ve been working on my cooking skills. I decided to make a skirt steak tonight, which I’ve never done before. I made it with a cucumber salad with homemade tzatziki. It was good for my first time grilling skirt steak, and I’m excited to make more recipes. I have leftover steak, so I think I’ll make Carne Asada tacos.
