This week has been very exciting. I am starting my international finance class and my politics class. Both of which have been very interesting and I am enjoying the change in pace. I was assigned a presentation that is due in week 6 which is kind of a drag. But It is a presentation about food and I ended up choosing Pho for my topic. I am doing some research on the historical facts, the origin, and the regional differences on the this. This does also give me the perfect excuse to go eat it a couple times so I am fine with doing this as my assignment. There is a local shop right by the hotel and everytime I leave the restaurant I am completely stuffed with food.

During the weekend we got a tour of the opera house and some of the history behind the building. It was very interesting to learn about the different materals that were used in its construction and some of the rooms that are inside. Did you now that there is a room that was dedicated for a show specifically for Dungeons and Dragons. There is also a massive organ in the opera house that stands at about 15 meters. The thing is absolutely huge and tuning it must take a very time long.

This week has been a great chance for me to stop cooking and going out to try different foods. My cooking is defeinetly getting better though and I have ben experimenting with differnt dishes. After the tour in the opera house, I walked about with a couple of buddies and I ended up getting some fish tacos. The tacos were pretty solid but I honestly think I could make something tastier if I spent some more time on cooking my dishes. I think I will try to cook way more in Singapore and use more vegetables in my cooking. The dish taco has encouraged me to start cooking some more seafood.
