Hunter Valley Wine Tours
This weekend, Bucknell students had the opportunity to participate in wine tours in the Hunter Valley region of Australia, which is one of the most prominent regions of wine creation in the country. During these tours, we learned about the history of three different wineries and tasted various wines. Some of my favorites included the Shiraz and the Semillon varieties. I was very interested in the time and effort that it took to create and the backstory behind each wine. It was also intriguing to learn about what type of food each wine complimented the most. Overall, this weekend was a great and memorable experience.

Blue Mountains
On Monday, I took a visit to the Blue Mountains which is about a two-hour commute from Bondi. The commute took a long time, but it was definitely worth it. At the Blue Mountains, I visited the Echo Point Lookout, the Three Sisters Lookout, and the Katoomba Falls. The hike to each point was treacherous to say the least, with many steep stairs, but very much worth it for each breathtaking view. The pictures do not do the Blue Mountains enough justice.

All in all, this week was a lot of fun, and I am looking forward to next weekend when I will be travelling to Christchurch, New Zealand.

Excellent photos Matt! Excited for Christchurch next weekend!
