For my last blog I wanted to reflect on my time thus far in Singapore. Although I was no where near ready to leave Australia I knew singapore would be so much fun with weekend trips and being in a completely different city. In my time here I got visit Bali with Lauran and Alexa, Malaysia with my office, Bintan, and I am very excited to visit Osaka Japan for our last weekend. Each trip has been so uniqque while some were more focused on relaxing and others had more activities.
To come a little full circle from my final blog of sydney I wasnted to mention a couple of my favorite spots in singapore. For coffee it has to go to French fold becasue I alwasy get a piece of chocolate with my coffee and it was one of the few places I’ve found with almond milk in Singapore.
My favorite meal to make was probably chicken, sweet potato, rice, and kale which if you ask my roomates I think I have made way too many times.
My favorite dinner spot was porbably fortuna being that I went twice and the pizza was unreal.
While my favorite cafe was five oars roaster only becasue I went on my birthday and got mac and cheese my FAVORITE FOOD EVER.
Although it was not a favorite Poke theory was my go to make your own bowl place however, it will never compare to Fishbowl in Sydney so unfortunatly I cannot give it favorite status.
Lastly for dessert although I don’t want to bring up any bad memories my favorite cake was probably the bite of Sinpopo cake which we will be repurchasing on our final week here.
My favorite meal I will say was probably our easter dinner when John, Jonah, and Matt came over to our apartment but I may be slightly biased as I was the one who cooked. But spending time with everyone talking, eating, and playing cards after was so much fun.
Since being in Singapore I feel likle its harder for us all to see eachother as we have different jobs entailing different schedules. This being said I had a great time in Bintan last weekend because it gave us all a chance tto catchup on our time in singapore. We got to relax by the beach, have meals together, and do activities. I was able to go bowling with Aleksa, Jonah, John, and Colin.
Gettting massages at the hotel with Alexa and John. Playing cards with Jonah, Maddie, and Alexa. Even just going to a different gym with friends was fun.
Although I am extremely excited to go home and see all my friends and family I know these last few weeks will fly by and I’ll be wishing for more time at the end. This has truly been the best exeperience of my entire life. Whether its been metting new poeple like Maddie, Alexa, Matt, and Lauren. Getting even closer with friends like Jonah, Stella, John, and an honorable mention for Sienna who I MISS SO MUCH. I think after this we will all be friends for the rest of our lives adn I could not have asked for better friends to be on the trip with.
