Week 4 brought us to the capital city of Australia, Melbourne. On the first day in Melbourne, we went on a walking tour around the central business district, learning interesting history and seeing beautiful sight like the exhibition center. One specific interesting piece of history was the story of The Kelly Gang. This interesting history featuring a bank robbing gang, metal armor, and Melbourne ideals of life were all very interesting and insightful about the city.

On our second day, my friends and I took the time to find a nice breakfast spot hidden within an alley way near the CBD. This hidden gem was created within an old factory, featuring antique wooden furnishings and a secret table within a production machine. We then made it to the famous Melbourne markets, where we shopped for belt-buckles, antiques, and handmade wooden art pieces. To close out our day, we walked through many of the famous graffiti art alley-ways and attended the summer exhibit in The ACMI museum.
