Weekend in Melbourne

Spending the weekend in Melbourne was an unforgettable experience. We received a historic tour which provided a fascinating glimpse into Melbourne’s past, offering insights into its colonial foundations and architectural heritage. Walking through the city with a guide, I could almost imagine what life was like in earlier decades, seeing how modern Melbourne still holds onto its roots.

One of the most striking parts of the trip was exploring the famous graffiti alleys. Melbourne’s street art scene is very bold and expressive. Every space of the wall was filled with different realistic images, political messages, and artistic flair. It was fascinating to see how art could transform ordinary alleyways into dynamic, colorful pieces of art.

Victoria Market was a mixture of culture where locals and tourists alike gathered to shop for fresh produce, handmade crafts, and unique souvenirs. The market’s lively atmosphere and the variety of goods made it a great place to browse and experience the city’s diverse offerings. Whether it was small boutiques, artisan markets, or independent bookstores, each shop had something distinct to offer.

Overall, this weekend was an incredible mix of history, culture, and urban exploration. Melbourne’s energy is contagious, and every experience added a new layer of appreciation for this dynamic city.
