Spring Break and then Time to Lock In

This week marked the start and end to spring break. Spring break was so fun.

First, I got to experience true Australia by going to this sick crocodile sanctuary. We saw some pretty big ones that were crazy aggressive for food. Im talking 4 to 5 meters long. They were doing a private feeding tour of this one named titan and this was one of the biggest animals I’ve ever seen in my life. It was at this place that I tried crocodile for the second time. It was so good. I would have a whole one. We got to see so many different animals at this site, but by far the weirdest one was the cassowaries. These prehistoric looking birds definitely were so weird and I saw one was fully conscious and knew it was a bird. The rest of the day was fun. Trev and I had a nice dinner at some Italian place.

The next day was a top 3 day in Australia. I woke up, went on a run. Then Trev and I took an Uber up to this beach called Trinity Beach. This place was absolutely paradise. We grubbed at another authentic Italian place for lunch and I swear I had the best calamari I’ve ever had in my life here. We over looked the beach on a sunny day with a nice breeze. After lunch we found a spot to plop down on the beach and relax. It was so nice and I actually could relax and slow down for a bit. Up until this point the trip has been go go go, but I was at peace her. There is no other way to put the feeling than pure bliss. I had good music going, waves crashing and a lotta sun. Later we had a good dinner at the nearby restaurant and headed back home.

It was finally time to pack up our things and say goodbye to Australia. We boarded the plane and headed to papau new guinea. This was not my favorite place at all. The flight to Singapore was cool. I watched 2 rush hour movies. They were really funny and I highly recommend them. I made some progress on a new book I am reading called ” Catch 22″. Great book also recommend. When we landed in Singapore I was surprised just how developed the country is in person. Shopping centers left and right, great food, lights, no potholes. I will admit I am also terrified of getting into any trouble. I had my first day of work at Maybank today. The team is really chill and the work is interesting. It’s kind of confidential, so I’ll spare the details. All I know for now is that the coffee is great and the food is cheap.
