This last week I was able to see my parents for the first time in over 3 months. This visit was a much needed treat which made me miss home just a little less to be able to finish off this trip strong. As I mentioned in my last blog, me and my parents spent the weekend walking the F1 track and exploring Singapore. This weekend, my parents and I enjoyed a relaxing and amazing trip to Bali, with a notable trip to the island of Nusa Penida.
The first day of our trip we took relaxing rest day which entailed a refreshing full body massage and hours in a salt-water lagoon. We were able to enjoy the beauty of Bali and I was able to take a nice break from work. We had an amazing dinner at a Italian seafood restaurant where I had a seafood linguine which was amazing. The second night we also went to the same restaurant because It was so tasty. On Sunday my family and I took a boat and land tour of Nusa Penida which included snorkeling with manta-rays and a hike to a beautiful view of the famous Nusa Penida rock formation and beach. We had the most amazing Balinese tour guides which gave us a history of Bali as well as interesting life stories. I would recommend doing this trip for everyone because it was so beautiful and unlike any island I have every visited.

To wrap up my blog for this week and for my whole abroad experience I would like to first start by discussing the enriching and amazing time I have had in both Australia and Singapore. During this experience I was not only able to integrate in two different multicultural societies, but I was also able to learn the deep culture of Australia and Singapore through enriching events, and the wonderful classes I enrolled in. In Singapore, I have been able to enhance my professional skills through my internship experience at OrionW, and have learned much more about financial technology firms as well as law. Overall, my abroad experience has been an amazing one which has allowed me to see different societies and learn different cultures from around the world. I think that this trip was one of the defining moments of my time at Bucknell and I will undoubtedly remember it forever.
