Week 3:

This week, I am somehow still having new experiences to share! Went back to Chinatown this friday and tested out some honey chicken and it was amazing. It reminded me of the American Chinese General Tso’s Chicken as it had a somewhat sweet taste to it. Went to a Japanese club in Chinatown Friday night with some Bucknell friends and became the loud ignorant American stereotype for the night as people were very welcoming to us. Week 2 in Sydney

‘ This week has been just as fun as the first week in terms of activities to do. On Monday, my friends and I decided to head to a cricket game, which was my first time ever watching a cricket game. For a good portion of the game, I had no idea what the rules were and how the game was scored, but I was enjoying the atmosphere the stadium gave for every ball that went out. Week 1 in Bondi Junction

My first week of being in Australia and my experience has been wonderful. Last week was the first time I had traveled outside of the United States, especially without any of my family nearby. I knew I was going to love Australia as a country, but I did not how well I was going to adapt overall to the different people, environment, culture, and teaching environment.
