Abroad in Australia Week 3

This week was unusually rainy for Sydney. With the sun not making an appearance until Saturday, I had to find some other activities suited for the poor weather to occupy my time.  Putting the Study in Study Abroad  At the beginning of the week, my workload had increased and I had to dedicate more time to my studies. Week 2: Abroad in Australia

As I began my second week in Sydney, I found myself eager to continue to explore the city. I spent this week exploring new places like Hyde Park, shopping near Bondi, Bronte Beach, and Sydney Harbor.  Hyde Park  After our first class on Monday, Stella and I took the bus to Hyde Park. We had lunch across the street at the Canopy. We then proceeded to explore the park. The park was so vibrant and filled with greenery, birds, and people. Week 1: Abroad in Australia

Arrival in Australia We landed at Sydney International Airport after a nearly 24-hour travel day. After being in a cramped plane for 15 hours, it was a relief to get changed, stretch our legs, and sit in the sun. Next, we got settled into the hotel and headed out for dinner and to explore the city. We shared a family-style Italian dinner and got to know other members of the programs.
